Scanning uploads for viruses
We scan all uploads. We block the bad ones.
Do you think twice before downloading things from the internet?
It's definitely a good practice, but we wanted to give you one less thing to worry about. That's why we are now scanning all uploads to Padlet for malware or viruses. If we detect malware, we block the upload. Simple!
This is part of our ongoing effort to improve content safety at Padlet. You can read about other recent improvements here.
We are still tweaking the update, so it is possible that a few viruses will slip through. Viruses can be tricky like that! If you, dear Padleteers, happen upon a Padlet post containing malware, please let us know so we can take it down and improve our system. Just head to our contact form and choose the topic Report a padlet.
