We're certified by education experts, and now you can get certified too.
Certifications are weird. Sometimes people don't believe you when you say what you're doing is good, so you have to get other people to say it for you.
We've recently been certified by three organizations to validate what we've been saying about Padlet all along. (Hopefully you trust these folks more than us.) And while we're collecting certifications, we're also helping you earn them through our professional development programs.

Padlet has received three certifications that show our commitment to educational excellence, evidence-based impact, and student privacy.
ISTE Creativity Seal
The International Society for Technology in Education recognized Padlet for fostering creativity in learning environments. Their evaluation confirmed that Padlet helps students and educators express ideas, create original works, and collaborate creatively.
ESSA Level IV
Our ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) Level IV certification demonstrates that Padlet has a solid research foundation showing positive effects on student outcomes. This certification helps educators feel confident that Padlet isn't just engaging—it's effective.
Common Sense Privacy Seal
Common Sense Media evaluated our privacy practices and data handling. Their seal confirms that Padlet meets rigorous standards for protecting student information and maintaining transparency about data use.

You can get certified too
While we're collecting certifications, we're also helping you earn them. We offer two main ways to deepen your Padlet expertise and earn recognition for your skills.
PD 101 and Certification
Our Professional Development program covers Padlet fundamentals through about an hour of videos, complete with examples and resources. After watching the content and completing a short form, you'll receive your Padlet certification.
We're launching an AI course at the end of the month that will be available at the same link, helping you master Padlet's AI features for your classroom.
Padlet Sessions
Our free virtual webinars happen every first and third Wednesday of the month. These live sessions let you ask questions, see Padlet in action, and learn alongside other educators.
We're expanding globally to cover more time zones and languages. You can find registration links for upcoming sessions and recordings of previous ones at the Sessions page.
